Heather Holland Wheaton is the author of three short story collections, most recently, You Are Here. Her work has also appeared Slipstream, The Morning News, PIM , Every Day Fiction and the anthology Hell's Garden: Mad, Bad and Ghostly Gardeners.

For the past three years, she's been making, obsessing and about soap using herbs she grows in the Oasis Community Garden.

Heather pays her rent by working as a tour guide on those red double-decker buses that roam the streets of New York City. Her favorite building in the city is Grand Central Terminal.

At the moment, she's writing book one of The Haley Maxwell Soap Making Mysteries, Deathbed of Roses. It's her first cozy mystery.
